That is all.

Silent WordsBill NeunerSilent Words
Today I'm remembering Someone I'd never understand My Mother's own Father A stoic, old fashioned man.
I know that he loved me He was a quiet man He made me a bicycle With his own two hands.
When I was a little child We barely spoke a peep After work he was so tired He'd soon fall fast asleep.
but
I know that he loved me He was a quiet man He made me a bicycle With his own two hands.
As a teen I rarely saw him Mom's family was at war Only at Christenings and holidays

What Shadows Know -Rough DraftI wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it with my own eyes. In broad daylight no less! I thought to myself "Sam, you're insane!" Yet, there it was. A shadow moved across the lobby of Hotel Vista, lurking and ducking into corners, making straight for the stairs. I was struck by its wrongness, I tried to tell myself at first that it was an optical illusion, or perhaps a man in black, skulking in the shadows, but no! It was a shadow unfettered, unattached to anything or... anyone. My horror and curiosity was piqued, I followed it up the stairs. It didn't appear to see me, if the thing could "see" at alll. What Shadows Know -Rough Draft

Cut From OpalsLegends say that opals came, from a brilliant fire trapped in stone. I wonder who trapped it there? What is there to fear from flame?Cut From Opals
In corners, in silent rooms, questions rise like rippling heat. Arid and rasping they ask, of things I'd rather not remember.
"Life is stable, not too hard, there could be no room to improve. I am loved, if not liked, food on the table and money in the bank."
I sing through my reasons, a chorus learned from, a million recitations. The sound is familiar and hollow.
When did you stop wanting

The stunted life I'm living, Is truely very strange, Locked in a waiting room, Wanting to be an instrument of change.
The world outside is waiting, For me to make my move, No longer caring about judement, I will not check if you approve.
This moment, all is at the ready, The only hurdle that blocks my way, Is this one, solid lock and door, That keeps me from the light of day.
Feeling the patterns where I fit, Outside and just beyond my reach, I kneel staring through the keyhole, Wondering how to cross the breach
